Meet Dr. Joseph Geiger

Dr. Joseph Geiger was raised in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He matriculated to a joint degree program with Adelphi University and New York University’s College of Dentistry. After earning his doctorate in dental surgery from NYU, Dr. Geiger was accepted to residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami in Florida. 

Dr. Geiger’s training encompasses the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including extensive training in general anesthesia and sedation. He also provides in office sedation options for pediatric patients. 

His particular areas of expertise are dentoalveolar surgery including extractions, bone grafts,  dental implants,  orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, and oral & maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction.  He has multiple publications on these surgeries in journals and textbook chapters.

Outside of work, Dr. Geiger is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoys reading and spending time with his fiancée, Miya, and their two dogs, Moon and Storm.
